Our Story
I grew up watching my mom braid the hair of friends, neighbors, and even strangers. As a child, I was fascinated by the care and love they poured into each person’s crown — and I wanted to do the same. I cut almost all my dolls’ hair, styled them constantly, and eventually began doing the same for friends at home and school. It was no surprise that after leaving school, I dreamed of opening a salon one day.
At 19, I began following that dream little by little. One day, while sitting in tears and unsure of my next step, my mom’s close friend — who’s like a second mother to me — asked, “What could you do every day that would make you happy?”
Without hesitation, I said, “Hairdressing.”
She believed in me, paid for my schooling, and gave me the chance to learn the craft the right way. I haven’t looked back since.
Over the years, I’ve grown and added new skills to my artistry — from bridal makeup and lash extensions to facials, waxing, nails, and photo-ready makeup. Since 2018, I’ve also embraced teaching, sharing my knowledge through hands-on makeup classes that empower others to create their own version of beauty.
The Finished Look is more than a salon — it’s my expression of love through communication, connection, and genuine care.
My dream is to create a space where every person who walks through our doors feels confident, cared for, seen, and heard — a space that encourages learning, growth, and self-expression.
